Google Instant
Google never failed to impress me, they’ve been always looking for smart ideas to make our lives easier.
Google’s latest innovation is Google Instant (http://www.google.com/instant), this new feature should enable users to see their search results just as they start typing.
Now, to the non-technical user this might seem trivial, but think about it a little, hadn't Google’s search infrastructure and algorithms been fast enough this feature would've been impossible or perhaps not convenient to even consider.
Every character you type in results in a search query being submitted to their servers and results had to be served back!
Consider the number of Google users world wide, do the math ;-)
